I received some lovely gifts with a gardening theme for my recent birthday. Thought you might be amused by this pretty little cushion.
I smile every time I look at it.

You know Maria, I thought about you when I posted this photograph because I know how much you enjoy crafting, knitting and sewing. It’s beautifully embroidered in cross stitch.

Hi Anna, I love it too. My friend saw it months ago in a shop and thought “perfect for Jean”. He’s right.

Lovely cross stitch. We were frowned at if we said “dirt” when we were studying horticulture but you know what? It IS dirt James…”dirt…dirt…dirt…dirt…DIRT!” ;). It certainly makes you “dirty” if you get stuck into it! As they say, if a name fits, wear it…DIRT! 🙂

Hi Fran. Dirt – it sounds like a lovely old Saxon word doesn’t it. Personally as a word I think it’s really down to earth ! boom boom

I don’t know if it was hand made Mrs Yub. Probably not but it’s still lovely.
