I like my daggy gardening clothes, but yesterday we dressed up.
Two friends from the allotment took me out for lunch. That is the last of my birthday celebrations. It was pointed out that if I don’t stop soon it will run into my next birthday. So that’s it folks.
We had a lovely catch up, if we had stayed longer they would have asked us to wash up!
Thank you Di and Zu for the flowers, they are already opening up beautifully.

Lazy lunches that go on forever and birthdays that do the same thing are our entitlements Jean ;). Gardeners are the salt of the earth and need to be rewarded every way that they can be because what we are doing is putting back a little of what has been taken away in truckloads. Consider your extended lunches and birthday a given! 🙂

It’s funny you mention your gardening clothes…mine are awful but oh so comfortable!

Gardening down at the allotment is a great leveller – we all look like we are “dressed by the op shop”. But isn’t it wonderful to dress in comfy clothes.
